01 · Tianmen Mountain Cableway

Morning Take one of the world’s longest mountain cable cars from the city center toward the summit of Tianmen Mountain.

During the approximately 30-minute ride, enjoy spectacular views of Zhangjiajie’s mountains and the winding roads far below.

02 · Mountain Summit & Glass Walkway

09:00–11:30 Explore the dramatic cliff-top scenery and walk along the famous Glass Skywalk, where transparent sections of the walkway cling to the mountainside hundreds of metres above the valley.

Continue along the Cliff-Hanging Walkway for breathtaking panoramic views.

03 · Tianmen Cave

Late Morning Descend toward the legendary Tianmen Cave — “Heaven’s Door”, a huge natural opening through the mountain.

Admire the spectacular landscape surrounding this iconic landmark.

04 · 99 Bends Road

12:00–13:00 Experience the famous 99 Bends, a spectacular mountain road with 99 hairpin turns winding dramatically up the mountainside.

From above, the road looks like a giant dragon curling through the mountains.

Afternoon: Return to Zhangjiajie city after lunch.
