Sichuan Chengdu tour from Czech

Sichuan held a tourism promotion conference in Prague, capital of Czech, on May 2, 2016, aiming to strengthen tourism cooperation between the two sides. Attending the conference were around 170 participants, including Wang Dongming, secretary of the CPC Sichuan Provincial Committee and chairman of the Standing Committee of Sichuan Provincial People’s Congress, Cheng Yongru, counselor for the economic and commercial section of the Chinese embassy in Czech, Milos Petera, governor of Central Bohemian Region, and Jan Kohout, an adviser to Czech President Milos Zeman on Chinese matters. Wang said in his speech that both Sichuan and Czech are rich in tourism resources and Sichuan would further cooperation with Czech in all areas in the future. Petera also expressed his hope that the Consulate General of Czech in Chengdu and the direct air service between Chengdu and Prague could fully play their role in strengthening exchanges and cooperation between the two sides. A number of deals on tourism cooperation were signed during the event. Sichuan’s tourism promotion activities held at the Old Town Square drew great attention from local residents and tourists
