On September 28, 2015, the Civil Aviation Administration of China approved the naming of Chengdu’s new airport as “Chengdu Tianfu International Airport”; on May 7, 2016, Chengdu Tianfu International Airport officially started construction; on December 6, 2020, Chengdu Tianfu International Airport The school flight was successful; on March 25, 2021, the test flight of Chengdu Tianfu International Airport was completed; on June 27, 2021, Chengdu Tianfu International Airport was officially opened.
