There is a departure point at the Qianmen Distribution Center, with departures at 7:30, 8:30, 9:30, and 10:30, and return trips generally at 14:30, 15:30, and 16:30. • Function: This cable car goes up the mountain. For the descent, you have two options: take the same cable car back, or experience the matching mountain slide (a popular speed slide down the mountain).
• Advantages: The open-air chairlift offers a 360° panoramic view of the entire mountain forest and the distant Great Wall, making for excellent photo opportunities.
• Differences: Mutianyu also has a western line with enclosed cabin-style cable cars, suitable for tourists who are afraid of wind, heights, or traveling with elderly people or children. The open-air chairlift shown in the picture is more suitable for tourists who enjoy sightseeing and appreciate a more immersive atmosphere.

The Speed ​​Slide at Mutianyu Great Wall (toboggan experience) +

The Speed ​​Slide at Mutianyu Great Wall is a major attraction, known as a “dry-land toboggan run.” It’s 1580 meters long, winding down the mountainside, and allows riders to control their speed, making it very popular with young people and families.
